Job Overview

India has the largest network of schools in the world. The size of this market is 1.2 Million schools populated with ~160 Million students, who are taught by ~4 Million teachers. We aim to reach these government school students and their influencers such as school teachers, parents and tutors.

Our company is looking for an experienced YouTube Marketing Executive who will be responsible for full day to day management for a portfolio of EnglishHelper’s YouTube channels. We are looking for someone who will help us execute a strategy to grow the network's YouTube channels, laying out the necessary content and engagement activity needed to achieve that growth.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Designing and managing complete video optimization and viewership growth for existing and newly created YT channels
  • Responsible for channel management like creating playlists and driving subscriptions, content management like title, description, tag and metadata creation
  • Devising audience development strategies to increase viewership and subscriptions of the channel also build on the YouTube community
  • Researching markets and industries to compare and create a content plan that is innovative and original
  • Managing the supply of videos either from in-house or from third-party sources
  • Setting up channel promotion & monetisation strategies
  • Managing promotions and live events on the channels
  • Analysing content marketing metrics and making changes as needed


Requirements:

  • Background:
    • Proven work experience as a YouTube Channel Manager (2-3 years)
    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or any related field 
    • Completed YouTube Certification Course will be a benefit
  • Skills:
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills 
    • Exceptional research, writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adapt to the style, tone, and brand voice of our business
    • Good understanding & experience in growing channels or running campaigns digitally
    • Knowledge of YouTube CMS & content ID system is a must
    • Should have good analytical skills (MS Office + dashboards)
    • Well organized and detail-oriented
